We haven’t met yet, but I hope that I can start a conversation with you through horses4yc community and connect you to a classy lady who has spent wayyy to much time staring at sale(s)s page(s).

Hands up if you’re ready to stop wasting time with other buyer’s PRICE AND LOCATION comments? And deal with someone who’s ready to give you a call?

And is ready to schedule a viewing , like. NOW?

That’s where I come in, asking all the right questions and answering yours. Because, Yes, I’m ready to extend the canter with your young horse your selling, but who isn’t? After all, the goal is to SELL your baby. But how bout to someone who disapproves of tension-producing riding techniques and will do anything for your colt or filly to continue to learn and have someone’s undivided attention and make a name for oneself?

I know they see you several times a day , and you want them to have a bond with a new owner like they have with you. I know the transition of selling is a big change and you want a new person to be a regular presence in your horse’s life each day. I’m in search of  a forever horse and have the time to look after one all 365 days of the year!

I have an environment to keep them learning and happy where they can associate with lovely people in a gorgeous setting! It DOES NOT include social isolation and loneliness, with long periods of confinement. My environment has open stalls with freedom to move, retreat and rest.

Oh, did I mention this Connecticut home is a top-notch Pinterest life in the making? ( kidding- or am I?)

Side note- Can we talk about how perfect this rider is? She’s the total package- non spooky, classy, sweet, brave, careful, uncomplicated, forward thinking, -all wrapped up in a winning personality. ????

I get it. You don’t want your horse to become another “number at a boarding barn or… end up with someone interested in amassing fame, just until the next mount comes along.

My all- time favorite thing is to bring along age appropriate younger horse that has dressage talent, and zone in on training and acceptance first before competitive results and awards. And when they are ready. I’ll wait a little longer(Listen. I don’t rush before they enter tri-color land). There is something about : accuracy of movements-a letter, true circles. Center line entrance and end. Transitions. Perhaps its feeling flow in these movements up the length of our backs… and into our heads. WE become aware of our bodies the way the horse does.

I came for { Pirouettes} stayed for the obsession-inducing bottomless learning opportunity.. this sport offers.

My Goal? << that word either made your heart race or your eyes roll, right? ;). To parade your horse around, show off its talents as if they where artwork we had painted and sculpted that ends with soft halt and a salute. It’s as simple as that. ..There is nothing else I know that gives me the same sense of being on top of the world.

My background? well. I would like to tell you a story about myself that is more than an excerpt of facts. My story, like that of many girls who were horses at age six, involves a lot of hard work and a few fortunate field lesson’s from the dirt. But that’s for another time.

The facts about me are easy to find, but those boring stats are on  http://www.linkedin.com/in/bellehavenequine/ . For my inspiration we must go to the mountains in Montana, where I am from.

I grew up in Log Cabin country with saddlehorses, near Glacier National Park in Eureka. I’m all about open fields, brisk breezes and lots of mountains.

I started off working under weathered old cowboys, and valued those memories as if they where gold. And those types are hard to find, now replaced by white hats, starched shirts and branded how-to systems . What few I studied under belonged to the Cattle Raisers Associations, roped with rawhide reatas, and where soft spoken. Being from a rural community, sporthorse barns where far and few between. I poured over Horse Illustrated and Dressage Today and day dreamed about horses in show rings, one foreleg at its fullest, preforming an extended trot. I’d sigh, smile and go back to my reality of  little choppy movers of the western world.

Something was missing.  Soon I landed myself in an arena as a working student at a dressage barn owned by an accomplished California woman full of beautiful horses. Quickly my favorite horses became warmbloods because the mountainous movements where- sooo magnificent.

My true riding inspiration strikes there. And I was introduced to dressage and got hooked.

It’s easy to see how immense beauty is—and that reins receive what’s going on in the horses’ body—reins are not for creating posture.

Horses are on repeat in my mind and my dressage fever burns hot. I’m issuing a NEW HOME ALERT for a young warmblood that can humble me and inspire me to grow and achieve. I wrote in my journal, on my way to Connecticut as a thirty something, it was time to climb a new mountain. As a well-rounded and open-minded equestrian who is always on the search for more learning, I’m ready to make a horse SPARKLE and SHINE. But WAIT! If your prospect doesn’t want to get at least a master’s degree, please don’t apply as we might dislike each other in the end.

Picture this: A simple- true -professional -sales encounter who has your horse’s best interest in mind, with onsite facilities and wants to care for your horse deep into his/her retirement.

One who is going to groom ’em like the day he was foaled. One who rewards a lot, stays light and never forces.

Personally, I’m looking to collaborate with a breeder who wants to track their babies success over the years, and align it to the right home. And I’m not talking that ear-shoulder-to hip-to ankle alignment…. I mean a rider that is the real deal. One that genuinely makes you feel right when you meet her.

If a horse is right, and ingeniously bred ….you pay what you have to pay and happily, as such horses are rare and priceless. Many don’t grasp what it takes to get foal on the ground safely. Raising cost are just the tip of the iceberg with youngsters. I totally get this!

If you’re ready to ditch the stock responses and start a conversation, you’re in the right place.

I’M EMILY and I have ample experience with young and green horses. And when I’m not riding you can find me on the yoga mat and petting as many animals as possible.

ADD ALERT! A MATCH HAS BEEN MADE! Thank you to all that corresponded.
