****THE MAGIC COMBINATION OF SANDRO HIT x DONNERHALL BLOOD *****
Cheers is a very elegant model like his father, with excellent reach in the foreleg, an exceptional walk and is active through his hind leg in both canter and trot making these easy uphill paces. He has an amicable easy going personality that handled the in-hand show series like a pro. He has been well handled, loves attention, stands for the farrier and bath time, and loads in the trailer.
His sire, Sarkozy – Hanoverian Stallion won over the hearts of the crowd every time he entered the ring during his stallion approvals with his grace and beauty. This noble stallion’s scores for walk, trot, canter, rideability and willingness were all outstanding, particularly the 9.5 which he received for walk.
Sarkozy then led the field in the Bundeschampionat final for four year-old stallions, scoring 9.5 for conformation and 9.0 for all basic paces. The jet black stallion only missed out on the title by one point, finishing up as the celebrated vice champion. This achievement came soon after Sarkozy’s Riding Horse Championship win in Hanover, where he triumphed with a score of 9.08.
Sarkozy’s pedigree is almost inspired because it combines the excellent genes of champion producer Sandro Hit with those of Weltmeyer, a stallion with millions of euro in competition winnings, and this is reflected in his extravagant movement. It is rounded off by premium Hanoverian genes from Bolero and Lungau, producers of many successful championship horses such as Beauvalais, Salinero and Brentina. Sarkozy is a dynamic mover with a generous action through the shoulder that earned him top scores at his licensing test, where the commission judges awarded him an impressive 9.5 for his walk.
His dam is by Dancier, the authoritative winner of his performance test and stallion licensing, was also proclaimed Best Hanoverian Stallion of 2002. This success won him the “Freiherr von Stenglin” award. As a young stallion, Dancier qualified twice for the national Championships in Warendorf and celebrated his first successes in the advanced class at the youthful age of eight. A son of the top class dressage progenitor, De Niro, this noble, attractive black stallion appears on the way to his own excellence as a sire. Damsire Lancier is by the venerable Laurie’s Crusador xx, Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2006, a rare honor for a Thoroughbred stallion. Dancier was awarded the perfect score of 10 for his walk, 9.5 for his canter and 9.2 for his walk. As a four year old he placed third in the Bundeschampionate. In 2008 he won the Hamburg Derby Grand Prix and was the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. Dancier is noted for his exceptional temperament and good ability to work from behind.
