Phaeton BPF is a 16h 2016 PRE gelding by Graffiti BPF out of Fenicia LIV, bred in the US by Mary Claeys.
’Bolero’ is the kind of horse that every rider wants to ride, and every trainer wants in their barn! Solid and consistent show results through Second Level with scores in the mid-60s. He has been successfully ridden and shown by several amateur riders. Bolero has a lovely, kind, and patient disposition. He is straightforward, safe, and uncomplicated to ride – not to mention exceptionally handsome, turning heads wherever he goes!
He shows good natural uphill balance, adjustability, and ability in the canter. He continues to build scope, suspension, and power in the trot work and has a relaxed and correct walk. Overall he shows good ability to collect, is easy to sit, and is soft in the contact. He is happy to hack out and while still being somewhat young, is reliable in new environments. A solid citizen – I can’t say enough about this trusty young horse with plenty of ability for the future. Currently in professional training and starting to school all the elements of Third Level – has just started training flying changes and half steps with no drama. Has been with the same owner since he was a yearling. Owner forced to sell horse of her dreams due to health issues.
Up to date on vet and farrier care. Currently shod. Stands well for vet and farrier, loads and hauls well, no stable vices, sound with no previous injuries or illnesses. Lifetime USDF/USEF registration. August 2023 x-rays on file.
