Trakehner mare full of energy, 100% sound and up for anything, any day of the week! Impeccable Trakehner breeder for event/jumpers. She is from Hilda Gurneys program out of a full sister to Leonidas PgE (Int’l GP dressage horse) and by Onassis PgE (sire of Tatendrang). When I purchased this mare 4 years ago she had been competing in jumpers in CA and won a Horse of the Year award with the American Trakehner Association in 2011. I then got her Mare Performance Test done (she is an “Exceptional Mare” with ATA) and have since been schooling dressage and doing endurance (25 miles). All A’s on her vet cards at AERC novice rides. We also had a lot of fun at a XC clinic with Andreas Dibowski (German olympian). Andreas thought she was a young 5 year old! Currently working on dressage with me, and jumping with a hunter trainer. This September she completed over 50 miles of tough terrain in the Appalachia over 2 days. She was sound, fit, and ready to go the next day.

She has excellent athleticism and flexibility. Very uphill in her gaits and conformation. The best hock action and sure footedness I’ve ever ridden. She is very forward and alert but also very manageable, kind-hearted and honest. Hops on the trailer and ready for adventure. She much prefers to be ridden versus hanging around. She is the one mare that I just LOVE to ride but I have young horses to start for the next 5 years, so looking for a fun-loving rider for her so she doesn’t have to stare at me from her pasture, wanting to go DO something!

She has also been used in intermediate hunter lessons and packed over a small course without issue. Was loved by 14 year old competent junior for a lease last fall. But best for riders not intimidated by a more forward and sensitive horse. Will consider local care lease as well. She is sound, goes barefoot or shod, no maintenance. She’s a tough, reliable riding horse!
