Kassia des Courtis Z is a very promising 2-year-old mare with all the makings of a great horse! She has a beautiful model, good size, confidence, and a friendly nature (towards the farrier, vet, and her meadow mates). She had a bit of summer dermatitis, but her coat has fully recovered. Kassia is well-handled, loads easily into both truck and van, and shows great respect. The jumps in the video are her first ever, yet she already displays respect, strength, and excellent technique! Her dam, Quicklove de Safray (Quickstar x Quat’Sous), has an ISO of 139. She reached the Fontainebleau finals at six and later competed in INT 1.30m with an amateur, showing scope and quality. Kassia’s 5-year-old sister by Perigueux, sold to the Czech Republic, is competing with great talent. Her 4-year-old brother by Perigueux placed 7th in the Belgian Free Jumping Championship this year! Her 2nd dam, Bahia de Safray (ISO 149), is an elite mare in breeding and jumping. A Fontainebleau finalist at five, she produced nine high-level offspring, including: Pussylove de Safray (INT 1.35-1.40m) Spicylove de Safray (INT 1.40m) Icarie de Safray (INT 1.35m), dam of: Nefertiti de Safray (CSI 1.60m) Iberia de Safray (INT 7 years) Her 3rd dam, Undine du Viscount, produced Arnica de la Barre (ISO 180), who competed at 1.60m.
