Description

Zenith Vayda is a specimen of a mare! This 2012 16hh Trakehner X Dutch WB mare is by Rubin O – a proven show jumping stallion. Her dam was an Intermediate event horse so Vayda was bred to do the things! She is well built and sturdy, the type that you can really wrap your leg around.

Vayda has been in our program since Fall of 2021. Prior to that, she was a family’s ‘second horse’ so is low mileage and therefore – no maintenance. Since joining us at Zenith Sporthorses, Vayda has enjoyed developing her dressage and show jumping skills. She is currently schooling first-level movements and understands leg yield and shoulder-in. She has a great trot lengthening! To the fences, Vayda is bold and brave. She definitely enjoys this job. We have jumped her to 1.10m and she has plenty of scope left in the tank for much, much more.

Vayda is great to have in the barn. She will stand tied in the aisle as long as you want to be there brushing, grooming, and primping. An easy keeper, she’s on the air fern diet. We keep Vayda in 4 flat, steel shoes as that’s how she came to us. She is currently on individual turn out for half a day but previously lived outside in a herd setting, 24/7.

Vayda is going to be best suited for a rider that enjoys a forward, powerful type of feeling. Yet – Vayda is not strong or hot, but she will go nicely forward when asked.

Vayda has also been to plenty of schooling shows before us and has since gone with us to a Novice three phase, finishing on her dressage score.

She is good for the vet and farrier and is good to load on/off the trailer.
