Description

Elegant, feminine, athletic and beautifully balanced in both body and mind! Horchata (“Cha-cha”) is a stunning Lusitano x Warmblood (TRAK) filly bred by Landmark Iberians Dressage in Ocala FL, and available now direct from the breeder. Cha-cha’s sire—the internationally renowned Trakhener stallion, Hirtentanz— hails from (and has himself produced) top dressage, eventing and show jumping horses. Hirtentanz is known for passing on his exceptional trainability, balance and excellent canter—all qualities well evident in Cha-cha. Her Portuguese imported Lusitano dam descends from a strong bloodline (Zimbro) known for producing talent in both dressage and working equitation horses. Cha-cha’s sire and dam both speak to her versatility and trainability, and truly she is THE BEST minded youngster we’ve ever met. She’s cool, calm and collected and happily adapts to new situations without a fuss. Honestly Cha-cha has been eaiser than the geldings and ALWAYS a barn favorite She is well handled, hauls, stands for farrier trims, and loves people, so we know this girl will be a dream partner for someone! With such athleticism and three excellent gaits, Cha-cha could go in any direction. Currently she stands 15.3/16h, but based on her lineage and her late-growing half-brother (same dam), we expect Cha-cha to mature 16.2/16.3. She is healthy, with good feet, no vices and gets along well (but never overly attached) to either a single companion or group (fillies or mixed) herd—In both situations all you need is a good whistle to call her from the field—She is always happy to see you and eager to know what’s next! I think Cha-cha is a beautiful example of how well the Iberian and warmblood breeds can complement each other, and we are so excited to watch her shine wherever life takes her! Conveniently located in Ocala FL 5 min from The World Equestrian Center (WEC) and approx 1 hour from Orlando or Gainesville airports. Fastest reply PLEASE TEXT (8am-8pm EST)
