*Hey Anna tell us what you have been up to recently?

I spent the summer like everyone else quarantined for much of the year and competing when it was safe to do so. Staying home allowed me time to develop my training horses and introduce my favorite horse (Roubaix) to the Grand Prix work. I qualified Fellini CF for the YH National Championships in the 5yo division this year and took some time to enjoy life. At the end of summer my boyfriend Nick, proposed to me and I of course said YES! So it was a pretty exciting year despite the Covid-19 devastation.

*When did you decide to go into your own business? Tell us about your new farm? When will you open for business at that location?

I had plans to eventually go out on my own concluding the 2021 show season with Crosiadore Farm but after our engagement things sped up the time line a bit. Nick and I are building our own training facility in Bath, PA. Our farm will be adjacent to Nick’s family’s farm (Field of Dreams) which will make us all a cohesive team. The farm is due to be complete by Spring of 2021. In the meantime I am able to continue training out of FOD.

*Will you be out horse showing 2021?

I am excited to be developing a few of FOD’s long term equines. Fürst Belagio and I will be pursuing the 5yo YH championships. I have a GP horse to show this year along with client horses and ambitious Students pursuing 2021 championships.

*Has COVID had any impact on your business?

It has certainly had an impact on the world but I have stayed in my little bubble like most equestrians and just kept riding. I already have several Web lessons located in Oregon so to me many things have remained the same. I wear my mask in public and make the best out of it just like all things in life, stay positive!

*Do you have a date for the BIG day?

Yes! I am beyond excited to marry Nick. I already feel like a part of the family. Nick’s parents Scott and Carol are the warmest and most welcoming people you could hope to have as future family. We have set a date for September 3rd, 2021 in PA. We are both enjoying planning it.
