Bio: Micah Deligdish is an International Grand Prix rider and trainer representing Israel. She’s a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist, and trains year-round in Wellington, Florida. Her boutique program offers high-quality training, coaching, and a personalized sales approach to help horse and rider find their best match.
Day in the life: We start our mornings early to beat the heat! We have between 8-12 horses in our program at a time, from 4 year olds to Grand Prix. We have a really personalized and tailored program for each horse both in and out of the arena, to make sure they’re really feeling their best. We spend most of the day riding but really take our time on the care and management in the barn. We have a nice mix of training clients, show horses, and sale horses, so we stay busy!
On days off: I think like most farm owners, on “days off” I’m usually doing something around the house or farm. There’s always something to do or to improve. Lately, my husband and I have been spending our time off together and prepping the house and nursery for the baby, which has been really fun and exciting!
Personal tip on advertising horses: My tips for advertising are to offer as much information as possible to really help paint a picture of who your horse is, quality photos, and a video that really shows what the horse can do. I think really clear, honest advertising is the best way to not only not waste anyone’s time, but will also set your horse up for success in finding the right home.
