Tip on selling horses: Believe in your horses is the best way to sell.
A Day in The Life(more of a bio): I fell in love with horses out the gate. Not raised in horse family, it’s all I wanted to do and work at an early age to pay for riding lessons. Divorced parents, my Dad bought me my first horse to parent me from a distance. We lived in SF. She was 1/2 quarter and TB and she was the best teacher and babysitter. I was at a barn in Marin and there was a 3-day event trainer that asked me to join her team as they were one short. That was my exposure to Dressage and in my 20’s it was the direction I took. I worked with an Olympian as a working student and was exposed to team trainer and riders. I rode my first GP horse at this time and was totally hooked on Dressage.
Since then I have always ridden with top riders and trainers and trained an OTTB to Grand Prix earning my Gold. I have had many wonderful opportunities and awards. And ridden many wonderful horses.Being demonstration rider, winning championships, earning high score on various horses.
I have worked with other top trainers in other disciplines as well to have many tools to train a horse. In America we don’t always have top warmbloods so different breeds need different approaches and I am not bound to a system. I know what I want in the end and every horse is different and yet similar.
I am grateful for my life and my horses. I now breed Hanoverians and have studied in Germany with the Verband as they are my favorite breed, although there are many wonderful horses in the world.??
