O’Shawn Avenue SDS (Ocean) is ready to start his career! Ocean is sired by ES Toronto; an Elite Stallion with the Hanoverian Verband, he is a Dutch stallion acquired by the Celle State Stud to further the jumping talent of the breeding program. His performance test single score in jumping was 9.3. This powerful bay stallion descends from the jumping horse producer “Now or Never M,” who is stationed in Holland. Toronto’s grandsire is the prepotent Voltaire, a consistent sire of international jumpers with temperaments of gold. The damline is also very interesting – Toronto’s damsire is Belisar by Saros xx, who is a full brother to Swazi xx, the sire of the Trakehner stallion Consul.
Oceans Dam was with us for a breeding lease, and the times we rode her she was very willing and naturally moved freely forward. We stopped riding her when she was bred.
Ocean is going to be best suited for an ambitious rider, who wants a young, talented horse to bring up the levels. He already shows clean lead changes, and has free jumped on his own when turned out in the riding ring. He has a floaty trot, and a lovely uphill canter that would make any dressage rider excited. Ocean is turned out with other young horses, and is use to coming in at night. He has been handled every day of his life. Ocean stands for the vet and farrier, and is starting to get use to being hosed and tied. He definitely is a nice blank slate, that has basics installed on the ground. Ocean is VERY flashy and will attract the eye of any judge.
