Looking for the ultimate AA-friendly dream horse to bring up the levels? He’s gorgeous, athletic, friendly, and so chill!
Orion is a 5 year old 16.2h registered ISH (primarily Irish Draught) imported from Ireland the past March and is now ready to find his own person! He’s athletic enough to gallop around a cross country course but chill enough to relax and fall asleep right after.
In Ireland he was well started, learned to jump, and even foxhunted with a teenager. He is by the well known ID stallion Mountain Pearl and has excellent breeding and conformation.
He is very quiet and straightforward (sometimes it’s hard to believe he’s only 5!). He does everything in a snaffle and will jump anything you put in front of him from any distance. Never has offered to buck, rear, or bolt. He has lovely floating gaits that are incredibly comfortable to ride (think moving sofa). Very nice w/t/c and goes on the bit easily. Hacks alone or in a group in any position. Doesn’t even care if a spicy thoroughbred gallops away at Mach 10!
Great feet, loads and travels like a dream, good for vet and farrier. I can see him excelling as an eventer, foxhunter, or jumper. Recent set of clean X-rays available.
Only for sale because owner doesn’t want to jump and he loves to jump. Price is negotiable to a good home.
