2024 Chestnut colt by Monterey (Morricone/Sir Donnerhall I/Diamond Hit) out of Han. Pr. Freya FHF. “Maverick FHF” is friendly and charming! He has long legs and lovely uphill movement. He was recently inspected and praised for his correct conformation and elegant type. He should mature to 16.2 hh and would make a super FEI Dressage prospect for the serious rider. He is registered and branded Hanoverian with a USEF passport.
HPMC Freya FHF is by the legendary Furstenball out of Reydena Ster by Olympic Weyden. Furstenball was the Champion of his licensing and tops the FN and Hanoverian breed values with a dressage score of 175.
Freya FHF was a Top Inspection Site Foal. She was praised for her lovely head and neck and her movement that lifted from the wither and stepped well under. Freya FHF was also the Champion of her Two Year Old Futurity. She was complimented for her noble type and received an 8.5 for her walk. Freya FHF completed her Mare Performance Test in 2022. She received a 9 for her head and showed amazing form over fences! Beautiful on the inside as well, Freya FHF is sweet and kind.
Monterey was named a premium stallion at the 2018 Oldenburg Keuring and received cheers from the crowd. In addition to his overwhelmingly positive impression in the arena, he was revered with regard to his bloodlines. Monterey is very rideable and has a lot of charm and confidence. He is immaculate in his foundation and demonstrates amazing gaits, especially in walk and trot.
His sire, Morricone, was the Oldenburg Champion Stallion in 2014 and secured victory for the Oldenburg Main Premium in 2016. He won his stallion performance test and qualified for the German Championships with victories in competitions for young dressage horses. His dam, Special Diva, was German Champion in 2014 and won many dressage competitions at novice (A) and elementary (L) level. Monterey is half-brother to Total Diamond PS, owned by Helgstrand Dressage. His great grandsire, Diamond Hit, competed in international Grand Prix competitions with Emma Hindle (GBR) and produced more than 70 licensed stallions and 160 Premium mares.
Monterey’s first foal crop in the U.S. was a huge success, producing extremely typey, top moving, correct foals with very good temperaments. All of his foals inspected GOV went premium.
