Rainna is being offered for sale due to no fault of her own. Unfortunately significant life circumstances have caused her AA owner to take a step back from riding and find Rainna the perfect home where she can shine and be enjoyed. We hope she will continue going to shows and clinics and hacks like she has done here with us. I sold Rainna for her breeder to my student( her current owner) last spring and together they did local schooling shows and clinics and an overnight show at Hits in Saugraties in2024. Rainna is a great show horse and is easy off the farm and at big venues, in fact she’s abit of a diva and loves to show off at the shows in a good way!
Rainna is currently in full training working on polishing the 3rd level work. I could see her easily taking her next rider to their bronze and silver medals. She does best in a regular program and would be well suited for an AA or Jr in a program but fancy enough for a pro in a budget.
She is a confident, safe and sane mare that is an extremely hard worker and needs a rider with some knowledge of dressage, their seat and an a half halt as she is a forward thinking horse with big gaits that prefers a rider that can help her balance without pulling on the reins the whole time. She is safe and will tolerate appropriate learning mistakes however she isn’t a dead head gelding that has earned school master status. She’s light on the aids and comfortable to sit. She is laterally supple making her straight forward to ride and the changes are getting quite solid and are clean for the most part.
Easy keeper, enjoys an uncomplicated buddy in turnout. Goes out at night in the summer and daytime in winter.
She has a few minor allergies that are easily managed – no carrots no alfalfa and dust free hay. Can be sensitive to bugs In southern summers.
On regumate daily due to painful heats.
Full PPE and Xrays available from 4/2024 She’s a true mare and chooses her people. She is honest as a day is long and will teach her rider to be the best version of themselves!
