Zurich HTF

This one is really something special!  A top-quality two-year old that trots for a 10.  We’ve been holding him back as a potential stallion candidate but we’re doubting that he is going to mature tall enough for us (we’re estimating he’ll mature about 16 hands).  So, if you’re an FEI rider with big goals but want to ride a little sports car of a horse, Zurich may be just your type.

Sire Zenon VDL (Zonik-Don Schufro) was 3rd at his stallion test, receiving a 9 for his canter, type, character, attitude, rideability and total impression. For his walk and trot he received an 8.5. Sire Zonik was 3x the Dutch Grand Prix Champion, competed at the World Cup Finals, and the European Championships and World Equestrian Games. Grandsire Don Schufro was an Olympic medalist and proved to be one of the top dressage sires in the world.

The dam of this colt is the Premium mare For Fun HTF (For Romance-Qredit). She was Reserve Champion for the USDF Breeders Series Finals as a foal and placed 2nd  at Dressage at Devon in the Broodmares 4 & over class. She has fantastic rideability undersaddle but has been primarily used as a broodmare to date. Zurich was her first foal.

As a foal, Zurich was awarded the Gold Medal Foal award at his large AHS Inspection.  The following year, he won the AHS Yearling/Two-Year Old National Futurity.  His correctness, type, and movement continue to impress us.  Now’s your chance to snap up a future super star before we change our minds.
