This beautiful guy is an excellent dressage prospect with three good gaits and the most amazing disposition. Mon Amour is kind, willing, and talented, with excellent substance and willingness to try anything you ask of him. He has excellent feet, correct limbs, and amazing hair!

Mon Amour has been professionally started and is a straight-forward, uncomplicated ride. He is currently quietly walk/trot/canter. He will make a wonderful ladies’ or junior mount with his amazing brain and easy going character. While he has all the excellent attributes of the German Riding Pony, Mon Amour is oversized and moves like a big horse.

Mon Amour was lovingly and carefully bred by veterinarians. He has had meticulous care and management since birth. He stands well for the farrier, bathes, and loads on the trailer easily. Mon Amour loves attention and greets you at the gate every day. He has been raised on 24/7 pasture access, but will also stable fine.

He stands just 14hh and crosses well on a variety of mares. Milky Way foals have consistently been in the top 3 placings in the Westfalen Foal Inspection tours every year. He seems to bless his foals with exceptional temperaments and strong, elegant toplines combined with big, elastic movement and exceptional jumping form. He has offspring competing in hunters, dressage and eventing with children and adults alike.

Since his import to Canada, Milky Way has shown with a Junior, an Amateur and a professional rider with many wins and scores over 70%. He was 2022 Eastern Canadian Junior Training level Champion with his 13yo rider. He also has scores over 68% at 3rd level with his trainer Emmanuelle Lord. Milky shows a lot of talent for the upper level work, especially piaffe/passage. He is continuing to school towards the upper levels with Emma while looking forward to show season 2024.
