Ray is a reliable bay gelding that is the ideal height and shape, as well as extremely comfortable to ride and easy in the contact. This safe, attractive gelding forms himself well under saddle and clearly has the ability to continue up the levels. Ray is working all of third level with a talent for the flying changes. Ray has a dressage show record through second level. He’s been in a dressage training program for a month after a career as a hunter, and his increasing fitness has made the work easier in a short amount of time. He is the same at shows as he is at home, and is easy to handle on the ground for bathing, clipping, the farrier, and hauling. He is truly the complete package. He is suitable for a timid rider but also happily fulfills the requests of someone more advanced. He is great on trails and a pleasure to have in the barn, getting along with everyone. He is quiet in the stall and in the field. He currently eats alfalfa and grain twice daily, and receives regular shoeing as his maintenance. A top home is a priority for us!
